TORONTO — Movie star Uma Thurman unveiled her latest role Tuesday: Calendar model.
The 43-year-old actress is the face of the Campari Calendar 2014, Worldwide Celebrations.
The images in the calendar, created by renowned fashion photographer Koto Bolofo, capture unique festivals from a number of different cultures around the world.
“I particularly admire the theme this year as I am able to share a worldwide journey of discovery, passion and style,” Thurman said in a release. She praised Bolofo for having “a keen eye for creating intriguing, stimulating and truly dynamic imagery.”
Thurman, who has starred in movies like Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, follows previous Campari Calendar models like Eva Mendes, Jessica Alba and Penelope Cruz.
“To work on this project with a beautiful and talented actress such as Uma Thurman is an honour,” Bolofo said, in a release, “and has provided me with an opportunity to push the calendar’s boundaries and defiantly capture the passion and style which is centred on this year’s truly inspiring theme.”
