Kim started his career in media at a small 250 Watt radio station in Fort Nelson in 1980. After spending a very cold winter there he moved on to Fort St. John and then to Kelowna. In December of 1982 Kim began working for C-FAX radio in Victoria where he stayed for five years before before moving to Vancouver for a job at CKNW. After a year and a half in Vancouver Kim was transferred back to Victoria as CKNW’s Legislative Bureau Chief, a position he held for the next ten years. The last four years of that time was also spent hosting a Rogers’ Cable’s show called “˜Voice of the Province’. In November of 1998 Kim became the Legislative Report for CBC. Then in June 2001 he joined CHEK News (then CH) as a News Reporter specializing in Legislative affairs. In his spare time Kim enjoys playing tennis and golf.
