HALIFAX – Two men charged with second-degree murder after a double shooting in Halifax last year will go to trial in September 2014.
Twenty-one-year-old Dylan Peter Roach and 28-year-old Jason Matthew Halsey appeared in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Halifax on Thursday to have dates set for an eight-week jury trial.
Thirty-six-year-old Corey Lucas died in the May 2012, hooting at a house on Clifton Street, while William Bolliver took a bullet in a leg.
Roach and Halsey are also charged with aggravated assault and robbery in connection with the incident.
Justice John Murphy scheduled their trial to begin Sept. 8, 2014, and sit until Nov. 3.
Both men will remain in custody.
