A construction crane has collapsed and fallen into a downtown Toronto building Thursday morning.
Toronto police said emergency crews responded to reports of a crane hitting a building at Simcoe and Wellington streets at 10 a.m.
Police said two buildings are being evacuated, 145 Wellington Street and 40 University Avenue.
The operator of the crane reportedly has minor injuries, but was able to climb down on his own, police said.
Toronto Fire is currently checking for structural damage to the building and are determining how to get the crane down.
