GOLD RIVER, N.S. – RCMP are looking for a suspect in connection with a shooting incident in southern Nova Scotia.
The Mounties say a 31-year-old man was shot following an altercation in Lunenburg County.

The man who was shot was taken to Queen Elizabeth II hospital in Halifax to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have issued an arrest warrant for Ronald Lorne Paul of Gold River.

Charges against the 60-year-old man include aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent to endanger life and assault with a weapon.
Police say Paul faces additional charges pending the investigation.
