The 36-year-old Calgary man driving the pickup suffered minor injuries, according to RCMP. EMS said the driver declined assistance from paramedics.
The collision forced RCMP to close down one lane of southbound Highway 2 as collision analysts investigated, but the highway reopened to traffic later Tuesday.
The town of Okotoks is located approximately 18 kilometres south of Calgary.
