Hundreds of volunteers came to the aid of the City of Calgary, helping clean and repair the island.

After weeks of uncertainty, officials announced on Friday that the 34th annual Folk Music Festival would be held at its historical home from July 25th to 28th.

However, there will be some changes

Officials say one stage and the artisan market have both been relocated to Eau Claire Market.

There are over 75 artists set to play at the music festival, include the Alabama Shakes, Steve Earle, Thievery Corporation and Creedence Clearwater Revisited.
