Regina’s new global transportation hub (GTH) has officially opened for business with its grand opening today.
Premier Brad Wall and Mayor Pat Fiacco joined the Canadian Logistics Services (CLS) President Joe Roeder to open the transportation hub.
“This is one of the most important economic projects in Saskatchewan,” Wall said in a release. “In addition to nearly 800 new jobs at this facility, we can expect to see more jobs and new investment coming to Saskatchewan and the Regina area as the GTH develops.”
When fully developed the GTH will be a major Western Canadian transportation and logistics centre.
