The pair have recorded the song Health Care Heroes and a video is being made by a Okanagan filmmaker CJ Clayton.

For the music video, the duo requested photos of first responders and hospital staff from around the world.

The latest health and medical news emailed to you every Sunday.

So far, they have received 179 pictures from healthcare workers both local and afar, including from Berlin, New York and Nunavut.

“We know it’s a big ask,” says Jim Rhindress, a former surgical nurse at Kelowna General Hospital.

“Everyone is very busy right now doing their jobs but it’s important that we see the faces of the real heroes in this fight.”
