The lights are back on in a number of neighbourhoods on the west side of Saskatoon after a vehicle struck a substation Wednesday morning, causing a power outage.
Saskatoon police said it happened around 7:30 a.m. at 33rd Street West and Edmonton Avenue.
City of Saskatoon officials said power was knocked out in the Airport Business Area, Mayfair, Caswell Hill, Westmount, Hudson Bay Park, Mount Royal and Westview.

Customers were switched, where possible, to a temporary power supply. Power to all neighbourhoods was restored just after 10 a.m.
The driver, a 53-year-old man, was assessed at the scene and then taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police said traffic lights that are still not working need to be treated as a four-way stop.
Traffic restrictions on Edmonton Avenue, between 31st and 33rd Streets, were in place for several hours. Those have since been lifted.
