Boundaries
Regina Rosemont includes the neighbourhoods of Normanview West, Dieppe and Mount Royal. The riding stretches from 9th Avenue North in the north to Dewdney Avenue in the south. It goes from Pinkie Road in the west to Lewvan Drive in the east.
Last Election
Wotherspoon defeated Saskatchewan Party candidate Kevin Dureau by 877 votes. Turnout in the riding was 58.3 per cent.
History
A primarily NDP riding, with only one PC MLA, Gordon Dirks, from 1982 to 1986. Trent Wotherspoon has been the NDP MLA since 2007 and before that, NDP MLA Joanne Crofford served from 2003-2007.

Deputy leader of the official opposition, as well as critic for finance, education, municipal relations, urban affairs, economy, and the Global Transportation Hub.
Born and raised in northwest Regina, Wotherspoon earned a bachelor of education, business and math, at the University of Regina and has taken grad studies in education and undergrad studies in business.
Prior to politics, he developed and managed a nationally recognized program for youth offenders upon release from custody.
As an educator, he taught in high schools, worked in student support and led various new initiatives.
Saskatchewan Party: ALEX NAU
Has worked in the non-profit sector since the completion of his undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Regina.
During his studies at university, he conducted mathematical research and taught calculus labs.
Will begin graduate studies in computer science in the winter of 2021.
Prior to studying mathematics and teaching digital literacy, Alex was working as a welder in Saskatchewan. He also volunteers with the Regina Open Door Society.

Born in Dryden, Ont., and has lived in Regina for nearly 20 years.
Attended Confederation College in Thunder Bay, Ont., where he received a diploma in travel and tourism administration.
Moved to Moose Jaw in 2000 to work at the Tunnels of Moose Jaw then to Regina in 2001.
Currently pursuing a degree in English from the University of Regina.
Volunteered with Regina Little Theatre and Regina Summer Stage.
Single father of a teen-aged daughter.

Born and raised in Regina.
Studied paramedicine at SIAST Wascana (now Saskatchewan Polytech) and has been practicing as a primary care paramedic since 2012.
