OAKVILLE – Police say a man and a woman are dead after a house fire in Oakville.
Halton Regional Police say the fire broke out at around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday at a single-family residence on Princess Anne Crescent in Oakville.

Firefighters were able to get both people out of the house, and extinguish the blaze at around 10:25 p.m., say police.

Police say both the man and woman died of their injuries.
They say they don’t yet know what caused the blaze.
The fire marshal will investigate.
