CALGARY- A man who was considered armed and dangerous has been arrested by RCMP near Red Deer.
A warrant for 30-year-old Andrew ‘Navee’ Waunch was issued on Friday afternoon. He is suspected in an attempted murder investigation, stemming from an incident near Sylvan Lake on June 3rd. Waunch is also a suspect in connection with an armed robbery involving a stolen vehicle, which happened around 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

RCMP continue to investigate an incident involving weapons that resulted in the attempted murder charge, as well as unlawful confinement. Police have not released more information about the case, to protect the victim’s identity and ensure his safety.
23-year-old Ashley Chambers is also wanted in connection with the case.
