One person has been taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle downtown Tuesday.
Officers were called to Ellice Avenue and Edmonton Street around 4:40 p.m.
A white pickup truck was seen in the area police blocked off with its lights flashing, while a blanket and a backpack were lying on the street.
Const. Tammy Skrabek told Global News that the road re-opened at about 9:45 p.m. and the victim is in hospital in critical but stable condition. No charges have been laid on the driver, who has co-operated with police.
