LETHBRIDGE, Alta. – D-Jay Jerome completed the comeback with the shootout winner as the Lethbridge Hurricanes edged the Edmonton Oil Kings 4-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.
Oliver Okuliar, Dylan Cozens and Alex Cotton scored in regulation for the Hurricanes (13-4-3), who are 10-0-2 in their last 12 outings.
Scott Atkinson, Liam Keeler and Riley Sawchuk built up a 3-0 lead heading into the third period for the Oil Kings (12-2-4).
Carl Tetachuk made 32 saves for Lethbridge as Sebastian Cossa turned away 36 shots for Edmonton.
The Hurricanes went 2 for 5 on the power play while the Oil Kings went 2 for 4 with the man advantage.
AMERICANS 4 HITMEN 3 (SO)
CALGARY — Connor Bouchard scored once in regulation and again in the shootout to lift Tri-City over the Hitmen.
Beck Warm turned away 46 shots while Kyle Olson and Nick Bowman also scored for the Americans (9-6-1).
Egor Zamula, Mark Kastelic and Carson Focht replied for Calgary (9-5-2). Jack McNaughton made 35 saves in defeat.

TIGERS 8 ROCKETS 5
KELOWNA, B.C. — Jonathan Brinkman and Tyler Preziuso had a goal and two assists apiece as Medicine Hat downed the Rockets.
Trevor Longo, Brett Kemp, Daniel Baker, Bryan Lockner, Corson Hopwo and Eric Van Impe also scored for the Tigers (12-5-1), who got 28 saves from Mads Sogaard.
Leif Mattson struck twice while Kobe Mohr, Alex Swetlikoff, Michael Farren had the other Kelowna (9-6-2) goals. Roman Basran made 33 saves in a losing cause.
Kelowna’s Nolan Foote was ejected for checking to the head at 7:20 of the second period.

MOOSE JAW, Sask. — Adam Evanoff kicked out 36 shots as the Warriors edged Winnipeg.
Cory King, Carson Denomie and Alek Sukunda supplied the Moose Jaw (8-7-1) offence.
Michal Teply and Connor McClennon responded for the Ice (9-7-1), who got 24 saves from Jesse Makaj.

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. — Jakob Brook capped a four-goal first period for the Raiders in their victory over Brandon.
Zack Hayes, Evan Herman, Brayden Watts, Eric Pearce and Ozzy Wiesblatt also scored while Boston Bilous made 19 saves for Prince Albert (13-3-3).
Luka Burzan struck twice and Nolan Ritchie had the other goal for the Wheat Kings (8-11-0). Ethan Kruger gave up four goals on eight shots in a period of work for the loss.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Kaid Oliver scored in regulation time and the shootout as Victoria dealt the Cougars their fourth loss in a row.
Phillip Schultz also scored while Brock Gould made 20 saves for the Royals (8-7-1).
Josh Maser and Connor Bowie potted goals for Prince George (4-12-2). Taylor Gauthier had 22 saves in defeat.

SASKATOON — Nolan Maier turned away 28 shots as the Blades handed Red Deer its third straight loss.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Gage Goncalves scored twice and Dustin Wolf had 34 saves as Everett earned its third win in a row by defeating the Chiefs.

Filip Kral, Adam Beckman and Eli Zummack had goals for Spokane (7-7-2), which got 22 saves from Campbell Arnold.

LANGLEY, B.C. — Trent Miner made 26 saves as the Giants scored three first-period goals and cruised to a win over Portland.
