A flood watch remains in effect for low-lying areas along in the Kuskokwim Delta, in southern Alaska, until Friday.

Water levels of the Kuskokwim and Yukon rivers have dropped, as ice jams have broken up.

A similar event in Ochre Beach, Man. earlier this month damaged 22 homes and cottages, when strong winds blew mounds of ice ashore from Dauphin Lake.
