TORONTO – Commuters on the Barrie and Lakeshore lines of GO transit may face delays of up to two hours after a trespasser fatality near East Gwillimbury.
A statement released by Metrolinx said that service on the Barrie will be suspended until emergency services has concluded their investigation.
The following changes have been made to the Barrie Line:

- The Allandale Waterfront 05:22 – Union 07:03 train trip is cancelled.
- The Allandale Waterfront 5:52 – Union 07:33 train trip will end at Bradford.
- The Allandale Waterfront 06:22 – Union 08:03 train trip is cancelled.
- The Allandale Waterfront 06:52 – Union 08:33 train is cancelled.
- The Allandale Waterfront 07:22 – Union 09:03 train trip has departed on schedule.
The train will proceed as far as Bradford, where it will wait for permission to proceed,
operating all stops to Union. - An extra train will be dispatched and is now expected to depart Newmarket GO at 7:50.
This train will make all station stops to Union.
Limited GO Shuttle buses are running from Allandale Waterfront, Barrie South, Bradford GO & East Gwillimbury GO Stations to connect with this train.
The Lakeshore East Line has also been affected:
The Oshawa 08:25 – Union 09:18 train trip is cancelled; passengers will be accommodated on the Oshawa 08:38 – Union 9:41 train trip.
The Oshawa 07:53 – Union 08:43 train trip has been modified and will make an additional stop at Rouge Hill GO, scheduled at 08:22.
