Const. Akhil Mooken told reporters the man was shot just outside of a vehicle. He was transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition, where Mooken said he still remains in the same condition.

Mooken said it is too early in the investigation and they will not be releasing the victim’s name at this time.

He also said there is no suspect information at this time.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who has information to contact police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
