Stroller for Tosia

Little Tosia suffered a stroke when she was born and developed cerebral palsy.

The almost-three year old can’t sit or walk independently so her parents looked into getting her a special stroller that will grow as she does and make life easier.

But as Mark and Ania Matuszewska did their research, it turned out the stroller came with a ten thousand dollar price tag, one that the government would not cover.

So friends of the family came up with the idea to fund raise with a garage sale and a night of
entertainment.

The community support has been outstanding and the family is very humbled and grateful.

“Thank everybody for their great support”, says Tosia’s dad, “Makes us want to cry its been great…we never expected anything like this”.

Tunes For Tosia will be held on Monday, April 29th at the Rocky Mountain Turf Club.

Tickets are $20 per person. The evening will include musical guests, refreshments and a silent auction.

All money will go towards the specialty stroller for little Tosia.
