Multiple fire departments were battling a blaze at a commercial building in New Minas, N.S. Tuesday.
Thick black smoke and flames could be seen coming from the building, located at 8985 Commercial Street.

The building is located next to a Petro-Canada gas station.
Nova Scotia RCMP said that Commercial Street was closed between Prospect Road and Highbury Road because of the fire.
Traffic was diverted around the area.
