RCMP in Dauphin brought in a haul of cocaine, meth, and weapons in a pair of weekend traffic stops.
Police stopped a vehicle on Dauphin’s Main Street Friday night, and a search turned up 764 grams of cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia.
Steven Gerald Catagas, 36, from Grandview, was arrested on charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with a recognizance.
Early Sunday morning, a traffic stop on 4th Avenue S.E. in Dauphin led to the seizure of 11 grams of meth, cash, and various weapons, including a conducted energy weapon and a can of bear mace.
Dauphin resident Preston Rodger Flatfoot, 29, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and three counts of unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon.
Both Catagas and Flatfoot are expected to appear in court in Dauphin on Tuesday.
