Province to spend $5.2 million on dialysis services

Colton Praill / Global News

The Manitoba government says it will be spending more for dialysis services.

Nearly $5.2 million is going to expand dialysis spaces in Winnipeg, Thompson, Hodgson, Pine Falls, Winkler and Portage la Prairie.

Funding is also to be used to expand home dialysis treatments. Premier Brian Pallister says the money provides life-saving care to Manitobans in need, when and where they need it the most.
