One man is dead following an early morning incident south of Strathmore, Alta.
RCMP responded to the scene on Highway 817 and Highway 22X around 3:33 a.m.
The cause of the man’s death and details regarding what happened have not been released.

RCMP Major crimes was called in to investigate. Officers said the investigation is in its preliminary stages.
Highway 817 was closed four kilometres north of the scene as the investigation continues.
RCMP said there is no risk to the public.
