Hamilton police have arrested a man who allegedly threatened staff at the Tim Horton’s kiosk at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Officers were called to the main lobby of St. Joe’s Charlton campus just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after the man claimed that he had a gun.
Hospital officials say the 19-year-old man was quickly apprehended by security and turned over to police.

No weapon was recovered, and the name of the man has not been released.
