Regina police say 23-year-old man in hospital after being shot Saturday morning

A 23-year-old man is in serious condition after Regina police say he was shot Saturday morning.

Police say the incident happened in the area of 8th Avenue and Montague Street at about 2 a.m.

EMS transported the victim to hospital, according to police.

Police say his family has been notified.
