A recent candidate for mayor of Kingston has passed away.
Eric Lee, 68, was found dead Monday morning, according to his landlord.
The landlord, Jane Zigman, tells Global News that Lee had recently complained about stomach issues, but it’s unclear if that contributed to his death.

Some neighbours who learned he was ill offered to take Lee to hospital, but he declined. According to the landlord, the coroner was called to his Victoria Street home.
