Toronto police say four children who never returned home after going to the movies Monday night have been located.
“All four were located in good health. They will be picked up by a parent/guardian shortly,” Const. Caroline de Kloet told Global News in a statement Tuesday afternoon.
Police said two 13-year-old boys, a 13-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy were last seen getting on transit in the city’s northeast end around 11:20 p.m.
The group, police said, was seen on security video at the movies and then at Fairview Mall before getting onto the Toronto Transit Commission.
Toronto police spokeswoman Katrina Arrogante told Global News the kids didn’t go to school on Tuesday.
Arrogante said the children’s parents were concerned for their safety.
