RCMP Dauphin detachment. RCMP

A 55-year-old Dauphin woman was forcibly confined in her bathroom during a mid-day home invasion on Saturday.

Dauphin RCMP said the victim was unlocking the door to her apartment when a female intruder came up behind her and pushed her inside.

The intruder grabbed a knife from the kitchen and cut the phone line before forcing the victim into the bathroom. She then searched the apartment and took several items before leaving.

RCMP tracked down and arrested the intruder – a 29-year-old Dauphin woman – later that evening.
