The two men allegedly involved were driving a blue BMW car and a white Chevrolet Cruze, OPP said on Monday.

Provincial police claim the two drivers stopped their cars on the off-ramp and “became involved in an altercation” around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, describing it as a “road-rage incident.”

One of the men sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital and later released, the OPP’s Ottawa detachment said in a news release.

The OPP have since charged the other driver with assault causing bodily harm. The man was released on a promise to appear in court on April 3, provincial police said.
