A 27-year-old Ottawa man has been charged with careless driving after a “minor” vehicle collision during Friday morning’s rush hour on the Queensway, near the Pinecrest interchange, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say.
Shortly after 8:30 a.m., two cars collided in the eastbound fast lane on Highway 417, one of which hit an OC Transpo bus in the slow lane, the OPP’s Ottawa detachment said in a news release on Friday afternoon.
No one was injured, provincial police confirmed.
The driver allegedly responsible for the crash was charged under the Highway Traffic Act, according to the release.
