OPP charge driver in November fatal crash on Hwy. 6 north of Guelph

Wellington County OPP say they have made an arrest in relation to a fatal crash that happened late last year on Highway 6 north of Guelph.

Police said 31-year-old Wade Brodie was killed in the two-vehicle crash near Kenilworth on Nov. 19 at around 6:30 p.m.

A southbound SUV collided with a northbound sedan, OPP said at the time.

A 21-year-old man from Chatsworth, who was seriously injured in the crash, has now been charged with careless driving causing death.

He will make a court appearance in April.

At the time, police said their officers had ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash.
