Those hoping to camp at Guelph Lake Conservation Area during July’s Hillside Festival will be able to book campsites starting on Thursday morning.
The Grand River Conservation Authority said campers can book regular nightly campsites as of 9 a.m for the July 12-14 weekend festival.
The reservations are in high demand and are usually filled quickly, the GRCA said.
Full weekend site reservations will also be available for early booking online between 11 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Thursday as well.
Any remaining sites for the Hillside Festival can be booked online or by visiting the Guelph Lake gatehouse starting on May 1.
As for the rest of the 2019 camping season, the Grand River Parks camping reservation system will be open for reservations on March 1.
Campers can use the 24-hour online service or call 1-877-558-4722 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
