Ottawa Police Service announced Friday that they have charged an Ottawa man as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of child sexual assaults.
According to police, the investigation began Feb. 1 when a victim came forward to report the abuse after police initially announced charges against the man for allegedly uploading child pornography on Jan. 30.
Danyiel Walker, 41, has been charged with 37 sexual offences.
Police say the charges relate to multiple alleged incidents involving four male victims ranging in age from 6 to 24-years-old, including a child with disabilities and are believed to have allegedly occurred in Ottawa between 2004 and 2019.
Walker will appear in court Friday for a bail hearing.
Ottawa police investigators say they are concerned there could be more victims and ask anyone with information to come forward.
