Innisfil man charged in connection with armed robbery investigation in Bradford

An Innisfil man has been charged in connection with an armed robbery investigation in Bradford West Gwillimbury.

According to South Simcoe police, a gas station near Highway 400 and County Road 88 was robbed on Aug. 31 at around 12:30 a.m.

Police say a man armed with what appeared to be a handgun entered the gas station and demanded cash.

Officers say the employee complied and the suspect fled with a quantity of cash. Police say the employee was not physically harmed as a result of the incident.

Police say a suspect was arrested on Wesnesday.

A 31-year-old man from Innisfil has been charged with robbery with a firearm, robbery with theft, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, pointing a firearm, uttering threats and three counts of failure to comply with recognizance.
