To celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend, country singer Miranda Lambert, revealed that she recently got secretly married.
The 35-year-old posted a couple of wedding photos with her new husband Brendan McLoughlin via Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
“In honour of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news, she wrote. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched!”
Lambert confirmed with The Associated Press that the marriage was in fact official. However, she did not disclose the wedding date.
“My heart is full,” she added. “Thank you Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for… me.” The post was closed off with a heart emoji and #theone.

Lambert had never spoken publicly about her relationship with McLoughlin before she posted about their marriage.
McLoughlin, 27, was revealed to be an officer in the midtown south division of the New York Police Department (NYPD).
A number of tweets from the NYPD show McLoughlin working on the job.
It’s currently unclear where Lambert and her new husband met, however, many are heavily speculating it was last November when she performed on Good Morning America in New York City — where he often works security.
“Back in Oct. when I performed on @GMA I told this good looking cop I had someone for him,” wrote musician Anita Cochran on Twitter. “He showed me his hand and said “no ring.”
“That didn’t last long lol,” he added. “Congrats to you both, @mirandalambert and Brendan McLoughlin. Best of luck!”
