Police are investigating a sudden death in Bracebridge.
According to Bracebridge OPP, on Saturday, Feb. 9 at around 11 a.m., officers were called to a residence in Bracebridge after receiving a report of a death.
Police say the death is suspected to be related to the use of opioids.
“Police would like to again draw attention to this dangerous situation as agencies across Canada have been investigating deaths believed to have been caused directly or indirectly by the illegal acquisition, distribution, use and misuse of opioids,” the police release reads.
