Man assaults father with baseball bat: Stratford police

Police in Stratford say a 43-year-old man is facing a number of charges after allegedly attacking his father with a baseball bat.

Officers say that around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, a 43-year-old man entered his parents’ home and allegedly assaulted his 67-year-old father with a baseball bat.

Police say the victim was treated at Stratford General Hospital for minor injuries to his upper body and he was later released.

As for the suspect, investigators say he’s facing charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, break and enter and mischief under $5,000.
