The latest winter storm is on our doorstep.
Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Hamilton and most of southern Ontario, predicting 15 to 20 cm of snow and ice pellets on Tuesday, affecting both the morning and afternoon commute.
Forecasters say a Colorado low will barrel across southern Ontario early Tuesday morning and continue into Wednesday.
Snow will begin early Tuesday morning and will be mixed with, or change to, ice pellets later in the day.
The weather agency says strong winds gusting to 80 km/h will cause reduced visibility in blowing snow and there is also a risk of freezing rain.
