A man is facing a number of weapon charges after being pulled over by Saskatoon police.
Officers said a suspicious 1991 GMC 1500 with heavy damage was seen turning north onto Idylwyld Drive from Stanley Place on Tuesday morning.
They followed it to Avenue C North and 36th Street West where a traffic stop was made.
Officers said the driver was arrested when a handgun was spotted on the passenger seat.
It was determined to be an imitation handgun.
A search of the truck turned up a .22-calibre rifle, a knife, break and enter tools, and other homemade weapons, police said.
The 40-year-old Saskatoon man is facing 14 weapons and firearm-related charges.
