Four people face charges after Peterborough County OPP discovered drugs in a motel room just east of Peterborough on Tuesday.
Officers were called to a motel on Highway 7 in Otonabee-South Monaghan Township to assist with an unwanted person complaint.
Police say officers located four individuals inside and found controlled substances, including cocaine and hydromorphine.

- Ashley Hadwyn, 33, of Otonabee-South Monaghan, is charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine); possession of a schedule I substance (hydromorphine) and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
- Alice Bergeron, 20, of Peterborough is charged with possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine) and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Bradley Vienneau, 26, of Peterborough, is charged with breach of recognizance and breach of probation. He will appear in court in Peterborough on Feb. 21.
- Joseph Simon, 37, of Peterborough, is charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and two counts of breach of recognizance,

Hadwyn and Simon were held in custody for court appearances in Peterborough on Wednesday; Bergeron and Vinneau will make court appearances on Feb. 21.
