Man airlifted after being injured in workplace incident in Kitchener

A man was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital after being injured in an industrial accident in the Laurentian Hills neighbourhood of Kitchener on Tuesday morning.

Police were called to Ottawa Street and Benninger Drive at around 10:45 a.m. for a workplace incident. A man fell of scaffolding.

Police would not provide further details as to how the man was injured.

Ornge air ambulance say that a man in his 30s suffered serious injuries.

Police say the Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident.
