ORILLIA, Ont. – No injuries have been reported after a small plane went through the ice into Lake Simcoe.
Police say it happened Saturday afternoon after the Cessna 150 landed on the lake just east of Orillia, Ont.

They say the aircraft was taxiing when its skis hit a soft spot on the ice.
Police say the plane started to sink but it wasn’t submerged because the water was too shallow.
The pilot, who was the only one inside, walked away unharmed.
No charges have been laid.
