Jeremy Renner and B.C. model welcome baby girl

TORONTO – Canadian model Sonni Pacheco and actor Jeremy Renner are proud new parents.

Pacheco gave birth Thursday to 7 lb. baby girl Ava Berlin Renner.

“Mother and daughter are doing great,” Renner’s spokesperson said in a statement to the media.

Renner, 42, and Pacheco, 22, met on the set of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, which was partly filmed in Vancouver and Burnaby.

Pacheco was working as a stand-in.

After becoming pregnant, Pacheco reportedly moved into the Los Angeles home Renner shares with longtime friend Griffin Hadley.

Renner’s films include The Bourne Legacy, The Hurt Locker and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.

Pacheco, represented by Vancouver’s Boss Management Inc., was born and raised on a farm in the town of Pitt Meadows near Coquitlam, B.C.
