Ottawa police announced Thursday that they have charged an Ottawa man with gross indecency as several alleged victims have come forward since the man’s arrest in late July.

The Ottawa Police Service sexual assault and child abuse unit have charged Donald Sullivan, 67, with five additional counts of gross indecency on Thursday after initially charging him on July 27 with six counts.

The male victims in the original charges were eight and nine years old in 1977 at the time when the alleged incident occurred. Sullivan was a Scout leader from 1972-1977 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Alta Vista Road.

The newest charges against Sullivan stem from two additional victims who were also members of the Scouts when they came in contact with Sullivan.
