Halifax Regional Police are investigating a series of thefts and break-ins on Monday, which they believe are related to one another.
Police say that at 6:14 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 0-100 block of Graham Street in Dartmouth for reports of a break-in.

While at the scene, officers learned that a second home had been broken into on the street. A vehicle was reportedly stolen during that break-in.
Police then received a report of a motor vehicle crash at the nearby intersection of Wyse and Boland roads. One of the vehicles involved in the crash was the car that had been reported stolen in the second break-in on Graham Street, police say.

The suspects fled on foot, with officers arresting a man and a youth in the area a short while later, police say.

No injuries were reported in connection with either incident and the police say their investigation is ongoing.
