Hamilton Police are investigating after a cyclist was found on the road beside his bike on Upper Sherman Thursday morning.

The man has been taken to hospital, but his condition is unknown.

The incident is being investigated as a possible hit and run.

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was hit by a truck while riding his bike around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, on Upper Wentworth at Elite Drive.

The victim was thrown off his bicycle and into the roadway.

The 39-year-old driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.

Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the collision. Any witnesses to the collision who have not already spoken with Police are being asked to contact the investigators Det. Const. Jaimi Bannon or Det. Const. Ben Paterson at (905) 546-4753.
