Provincial police say a man who was charged with voyeurism in the spring now faces three more voyeurism charges.

The investigation began on May 17, 2018, when police received a complaint about an incident at Target Zone Health and Fitness, a business on Thames Street South in Ingersoll.

At the time, police say they arrested and charged a man in relation to the incident.

In late June, police said they were looking to speak with other women who may have used tanning beds at the business between January 2016 and May 17, 2018.

On Thursday, police charged Walter Jason Peat of Zorra Township with three additional counts of voyeurism.

He was released on a promise to appear at court in Woodstock at a later date.

“We just wanted to take the opportunity to thank the community for all their assistance, and the information they were able to provide to investigators in the course of this investigation,” said Const. Ed Sanchuk.

“We are urging anybody that has any further information surrounding these incidents to contact the OPP, or if they wish to remain anonymous, they can contact Crime Stoppers.”
