The swim advisory at Gull Lake Beach in the town of Gravenhurst has been lifted.
According to a release issued Thursday, the town received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the advisory had been lifted.
The advisory was initially issued on July 17, after samples collected from the beach exceeded the provincial standard for E. coli.
A swimming advisory is issued when bacteria levels exceed those considered acceptable by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
