Saint John woman calls police after losing her bong – twice

A woman in Saint John is not having a dope day.

The Saint John Police Force says they received a call from a woman just before midnight on Wednesday, informing them that she lost her bong.

She told officers that she sold her car and left her bong on the backseat by accident.

Unfazed, the woman bought a new bong, which set her back $57. After purchasing a bowl, the woman was $84 in the hole.

Police say the woman left the items on her kitchen table, then crashed for the night around 2 a.m.

“When she woke up, the bong and bowl were gone,” police said in a news release Thursday.

Officers are investigating who may have been in her apartment after the bong was purchased.
