London police say a second man is wanted in connection with a shooting last month near Fanshawe College.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, in the area of Oxford and Third Streets. Police say no injuries were reported, and the people involved fled the scene before officers arrived.
Samater Ali, a 28-year-old London man, is charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a loaded regulated firearm, and possession of a firearm while prohibited.
Police are warning the public that Ali is considered dangerous and potentially armed, and that he shouldn’t be approached. Instead, they’re urging people with information to contact the London Police Service.
The day after the shooting, police announced that 27-year-old Shakeem Shavonne Nicholas was arrested and charged with attempted murder, discharge of a firearm with intent to wound, and possession of a loaded regulated firearm without the proper licence.
